Labeda Wheels are Back

The famous quad skate wheels from the 80’s are back as Labeda has finally come back to the quad speed skate market. You can see these wheels at  http://www.newskates.com/Quad_Speed_Skate_Wheels_s/59.htm.  Now you will have to look for them.  They are being added as I write this blog.  The wheels are expensive but the quality is very good.  here is the line up:

• Labeda Impact $90.00
• Labeda Diva, Assault or Heckler $102.00
• Labeda Classic $151.00
• Labeda Stiletto Slim $149.00
• Labeda Stiletto Pro $153.00

I want to mention the new trend in the  quad speed wheel called slim or mini.  The manufacturers are taking the traditional speed wheel size 62mm X 40mm and making them a bit shorter and a bit slimmer.  Why?  Mostly for the Roller Derby.  One more thing befor I go.  The Labeda Pro-Line plates are back and being sold.  This was considered by many to be the best speed plate in its day.  It should be available soon for $400.00

New Stuff Coming to NewSkates.com

Its that time of year when the manufaturers we use strat releasing the new products for the fall skating season.  Riedell has already released its updated line of Ice Skates and you can see them now on our site www.newskates.com.  Click on Riedell ice skates.  Gone are many of the old favorites.  The new models of ice skates have more comfort features.  Be sure to check them out.

New Roller Skate items are sure to follow.  Expect some new skates but this year will feature  new high end skate bearing.  Bones, Riedell and Sure Grip all plan to roll out new bearings.  Check back for more details.

Online Skate Shops

Are all online skate shops the same. Some are in fact some online skate shops have 3 or 4 sites all with different toll free numbers that are all answered by the same person in the same building. Now I am not going to mention any sites, but with a simple Google search of a term like Ice Skates or Roller Skates, and some careful observation of the sites you can see the ones that are operated by the same people. If a website like ours NewSkates.com, has great product selection and customer service, then we do not have to hide behind a new name and website.

Why would we want to have another site with the same products? Why would we create another toll free number and have the same people answer? Only if we have something to hide.

Be aware there are some skating site operators who get a bigger thrill out of being on top of a search engine than taking care of customers. That is not us.
